Subject #2 Increasing the range of an FM broadcast station.

Have you ever considered eliminating the stereo operation of an FM station and operate only with Mono? If you do, you will find that you can increase your range 30% by simply turning off your pilot signal. Not only will you increase your range, but you will eliminate the problems associated with multipath. I would be interested in knowing the results that my friends in engineering and broadcast experience if they follow this suggestion. By the same token, if anyone has other suggestions that their broadcast friends may have an interest in utilizing, please advise me and if I concur, I would be only too pleased to include it in this web page.
